First of all the members stood up in silence to condole the sudden death of our colleague, Shri Rahul Jain, our Life Member and his son, Shubham Jain, the son and grand-son of our Chairman, Shri Vinod Jain a few months ago.
At the very outset, Mr. Pancholi declared that he had come to register his protest. He, however, stayed till the end of the GMM.
After a few remarks during the initial discussion, Mr. Suresh Chand Jain declared that he was resigning as a Life Trustee. Mr. Rajender Kumar Sharma requested him to take back his resignation, but Mr. Jain remained adamant and did not declare withdrawal of his resignation.
- Then the Report on the status of 13 Mohini Road case was presented by Sheoraj Singh
- After that the Presentation of the financial status of the IRI and balance sheet was presented by the Treasurer. The same was passed unanimously.
- Issue of shifting of office record of the IRI and papers related to the Fifth Volume of ‘Selected Works of M.N. Roy’ from Mr. N.D. Pancholi’s house: Since there have been many requests from the office bearers in the light of resolutions of the GMM and BoT without any response from Mr. Pancholi, the matter was left to his conscience. He, however, did not respond in any way.
- Revival of the Indian Radical Humanist Association (IRHA) – Steps to be taken and responsibility to be assigned to senior member/members: since both the people who were likely to be entrusted the responsibility were not present, it was decided to discuss the matter with them and decide the matter later on.
- Then the election of the Elected Trustees took place. The names of the following members were proposed and elected unanimously:
Elected Trustees:
- Rajender Kumar Sharma
